Blanca Muñoz

Born in 1963, Blanca Muñoz lives and works in Madrid.  
Her work focuses primarily on sculpture and the use of steel.  Her works, easily recognizable by their airy appearance, draw on the repertoire of forms found in the plant world. Constructed in stainless steel, these light and fluid structures maintain a constant balance between light, space, and time. In 1999, she was awarded the National Engraving Prize (Spain). Her public sculptures are installed in Bilbao, Badajoz, Málaga, and Madrid. Her work is present in various private and public collections, including the IVAM in Valencia, the Prado Museum, and the Reina Sofia Museum in Madrid.

Since 2010, Blanca Muñoz has been collaborating with the famous Madrid goldsmith Grassy to create her jewelry. Since 2012, the MiniMasterpiece gallery has been distributing her work in Paris.
