Géraldine Luttenbacher
Géraldine Luttenbacher, born in France in 1965, initially studied visual arts before turning her attention to contemporary jewelry.
Her work focuses on setting light in motion through the body. The object is never merely decorative; it continues to exist independently of its relationship and connection to the body. She develops a naturalistic and sculptural approach to jewelry, with a penchant for the marvelous, the spectacular, and the rhythms of nature. She enjoys combining precious materials with less common ones, incorporating bamboo, copper, or bone with gold, and Super 8 film with silver.
Her jewelry has been acquired by the National Fund for Contemporary Art and is on display at the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris.
