Alberto Zorzi

Alberto Zorzi, born in Padua in 1958, is one of Italy’s most renowned contemporary jewelry designers. Trained at the Pietro Selvatico Art Institute and closely associated with the Padua School group, his work was initially inspired by Constructivism: throughout his career, he has favored geometric lines and abstract themes. Zorzi also holds a doctorate in art history from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and is a professor of design and the history of modern and contemporary jewelry at the Universities of Florence and Siena.
