Cédric Ragot

After graduating from ENSCI in Paris in 1999, Cédric Ragot opened his own design studio in 2002 (DESIGN STUDIO - V2.0) after gaining experience working with Christian Ghion.

Deliberately eclectic, he was involved in a wide range of activities, from cosmetics to consumer electronics, tableware to sports equipment, furniture to household appliances. He had a cross-disciplinary approach to industrial design and his collaborations included Cappellini, Rosenthal, Panasonic, Roche Bobois, Alcatel, Swarovski, LVMH, Schott, Paco Rabanne, Krups, Lacie, Azzaro, Häagen-Dazs, and more. However, his diverse range of activities was based on a single conviction: each project had to respond to a scenario reflected in its use, design, and materials.

Like his porcelain Fast vase, whose contours seem frozen in sudden acceleration, Cédric Ragot shone like a shooting star in the French design sky. Inventive, perfectionist, and a gentle dreamer, he passed away last March at the age of 42 in 2015.
He collaborated actively with the MiniMasterpiece gallery from 2012 to 2015.
