Marianne Anselin

Marianne Anselin was born in 1980 and has been working in Paris since 2007. 
She studied in France and Switzerland with leading figures in contemporary jewelry such as Sophie Hanagarth, Esther Brinkmann, and Gilles Jonemann. Since 2005, her work has been exhibited in permanent galleries in France, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, and Canada. 
Her first solo exhibition took place in 2009 at the Espace Solidor in Cagnes-sur-Mer. She has been invited to participate in renowned exhibitions in France, such as “Dans la ligne de mire, scènes du bijou contemporain en France” at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, “Reflet(s)” at the Palais de Tokyo, and “Médusa, bijoux et tabous” at the Musée d'Art Moderne in Paris.

Her pieces are represented in private and public collections—Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, La Piscine—Musée d’art et d’industrie André Diligent in Roubaix, Collection Municipale de l’Espace Solidor in Cagnes-sur-Mer—as well as in publications such as The Compendium Finale of Contemporary Jewelers 2008, Darling Publication. Dans la ligne de mire, Scènes du bijou contemporain en France, Les arts décoratifs Publication, Bijoux contemporains, une passion, Du Regard Publication.

In addition to her personal research, she enjoys teaching and has also been heavily involved since 2016 in PARCOURS BIJOUX, a triennial event in Paris.
