Tout un bouquet will be the second solo exhibition devoted to the jewelry sculptures of artist Maïlys Seydoux-Dumas at the MiniMasterpiece gallery, following Format Raisin in 2023.
“My hands are the buds of my life,” writes Maïlys about her artistic practice. She is bursting with ideas, her mind in turmoil, and then her hands get involved. As if nothing had happened, each gesture has been weighed, reweighed, and repositioned. The poetic value of her creations almost makes you forget the hard work, the procrastination of the material, until the doubt is finally resolved. The result is a collection of original silver and vermeil jewelry for the neck, hand, ear, and bust. An intimate conversation between nature, the artist, and the collector's body.

Maïlys chose to pay tribute to Haïm Kern (1930-2024), a painter, sculptor, and poet who worked until his final hours, by including the last works of her dear friend in her exhibition. Creating made him happy, and when he was no longer able to undertake large pieces, he chose, in the twilight of his life and returning to his childhood—his parents were jewelers—to make sculptures to wear. Haïm Kern is one of the strangest and most famous sculptors of our time. A witness to his era, he leaves behind a moving testimony.
